KARL PERAZZO POSTER

Timbale extraordinaire Karl Perazzo has been a member of Santana since 1990, and is an essential part of the band's studio recordings and live shows. Karl has also performed and recorded with Prince, Mariah Carey and Dizzy Gillespie.

In addition to performing and recording, Perazzo teaches hand percussion. Along with conguero and LP artist Raul Rekow, Perazzo starred in LP's popular instructional video “From Afro-Cuban to Rock”, which breaks down the complex musical rhythms of Cuban percussion.  Karl also teamed up with LP to create the LP Karl Perazzo Timbales.
