STEPHEN PERKINS POSTER

Stephen Perkins is the drummer for Jane’s Addiction. His early musical influences included drummers Gene Krupa, Elvin Jones, Keith Moon, and John Bonham. He started playing the snare drum at age nine, and acquired his first LP gear (black fiberglass bongos) a few years later. Perkins' primary instruments today are a drum set, a slit drum, steel drums, bongos, and timpani. "I like the pure tones and solid quality of LP products," he says, "and they're good people at LP."
