Raul Rekow played congas with Carlos Santana for thirty years, participating in the groundbreaking melding of Latin, rock and funk styles that characterize the band's history.

Along with LP artist Karl Perazzo, Raul starred in LP's popular instructional video "From Afro-Cuban to Rock", which breaks down the complex musical rhythms of Cuban percussion. Raul also teamed up with LP to create the LP Matador Raul Rekow Congas.
